Nice EF-1
This is a very nice kit. The build is easy and very rewarding.
The cowling takes some time and patience to make it look really nice, but worth all the effort.
The end result is a really nice racer that won me the Dutch Championship 2012.
I will continue to fly it in 2013 and maybe even longer if I don't crash it into one of the poles or competitors ;-)
I am using the approved OS motor and a 60 Amp ESC.
4s 2500mAh Lipo fits but has to be placed against the carbon wing tube to get the C.G. in the right place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Polecat EF1 racer!Beautiful kit, beautiful plane. It lived through a lot of practice, some races, and three crashes, and will live on as my practice plane.
I did replace the landing gear to personal preference, this is not necessary. I recommend the OS motor, or the E-Flite motor as per the EF1 rules.
I tried the Turnigy SK, but that burned out. Please use a larger ESC if you go racing. I use an 80 amp Turnigy Plush. That might be a little overkill,
but when you race you push full throttle for a minute and a half (or more, if you don't race as well as others), so a bit of extra safety is recommended.
Just bought a Little Toni for next EF1 season! Keep up the good work, Rob, we appreciate it.
