Why a 100mm fan ?
The 100mm gives a lot of thrust and not to much speed but just right as you can see
We advise the Midi Fan Evo 100mm with hetrc edf 700-75-1400
We are running a test with some cheater holes in the F16 fuselage, to shorten the take off
The F16 is easy to fly but not for beginners or beginner builders
F16 JP scale retract former set if you decide to buy the jp scale F16 retract set (turbines rc in france)
note that the set weights a 800gr, so you need more power , eg 10S 0r 12S
Here the F16 complete scale set you need the seperate former set also
Simple retracts do also work ,main gear and nose , bend yourself some legs
The F16 is a lot of work to build , but very rewarding
In the instructions download are many 3d print files for the extra parts

175 cnc cut ply and balsa parts There is no hardware in the F16 like hinges and horns etc etc

Cool building , you like it , all wood cnc cut perfect fit
All fine cnc cut wood , also some laser cut parts
Ducts are made from hard paper and vacuum formed parts

Normal retracts can be used , make the legs yourself or buy oleos
Carbon Taileron hinge point
Classic wing , very easy , we used Ailerons /flaps but we controlled with tailerons
you might want to leave the servo out we did not need flaps for landing .
All disassembled very easy
We used our drop in system , you can 3d print it your self or use ours
You can also use A4 pvc sheet for the exhaust connection this is not included
Speed controller and receiver and receiver cells in the fan unit housing
Retract doors closing with a short piece of methanol silicone fuel tubing, a short movie
is in the instructions
Steering with 0,5mm braided wire
Wing assembly at the field , very easy
Cells are in the front , we fasten them with hard foam blocks
We made cheat holes 40x90mm on side for more speed and easyer take off , you can also
Make them on top with a self opening hatch
